  In comparing this Meijer to the new one in Franklin, Franklin is much better. The store has a much better and fresher produce selection, better stocked overall and in my personal experience very friendly employees. I personally will not be making a trip to this Meijer if I can avoid it since my last 2 visits several months apart have been equally disappointing. I do enjoy Meijer as a store when compared to other big box stores, however. Meijer has a great selection of products. Their sales, especially on name brand items cannot be beat. Keep in mind that a product not on sale may be more expensive, but by stocking up on sale items you can save a ton of money. Mperks is also a great way to save and doesn't require clipping for all of the rewards. I can almost always find good clearance items on something I intend to buy whenever I go, whether it be groceries, baby products, clothing, etc. I also prefer many of their store brand items and "true goodness" brand on many products. I am a shopper who reads labels and I avoid chemicals, preservatives, and colors in my food whenever possible. While I would love to just buy organic, it's too expensive for everything. I find Meijer offers more products at a store brand level with better ingredients and I have read a lot of labels. Just be mindful that not everything in their store brand avoids bad ingredients, I have just been happy with the selection on common items we buy (ex. cereal, bread, pb). They do carry a lot of organic and specialty items too. Overall, I really like Meijer just not the Greenwood store as much.
